Main Street Medical Centre has served the Hervey Bay community for more than 40 years, with family GP care at our Pialba practice.
At Main Street Medical Centre, our experienced team of GPs provides comprehensive, patient-centred medical care to families across Hervey Bay and the wider Fraser Coast. Located centrally in Pialba, we are a proudly RACGP-accredited general practice with a dedicated clinical focus in skin cancer medicine, chronic disease management, and preventive health.

Main Street Medical Centre is centrally located at 71 Main Street, Pialba QLD 4655, conveniently situated directly across the road from I-MED Radiology. Our practice is perfectly positioned between Hervey Bay’s two largest shopping precincts — just a few hundred metres north of Stockland Hervey Bay and south of Pialba Place Shopping Centre. We offer ample free off-street parking at the rear of the building, accessed via the driveway off Main Street.
Our facility features modern consulting rooms, dedicated skin treatment areas, and clinical equipment to support a wide range of medical services including minor surgical procedures, digital dermoscopy monitoring, and ear microsuction. We maintain strict infection control standards as part of our ongoing AGPAL accreditation.
We are committed to accessibility with full wheelchair access, wide hallways, and accessible bathroom facilities. Bus stops are located on Main Street directly outside the practice, and our central Pialba location provides easy access for patients travelling from Point Vernon, Urraween, Eli Waters, Scarness, Torquay, and Kawungan.

Our GPs are supported by a dedicated nursing team of Registered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses, together with friendly reception staff who ensure a seamless and welcoming experience for every patient.

Comprehensive Health Services
We offer a wide range of general practice and skin cancer services under one roof. As a bulk billing GP Hervey Bay practice, most standard consultations are bulk billed for all valid Medicare cardholders.
Additional services include men’s health checks, health assessments, mental health care plans, immunisations, contraception and Implanon, ingrown toenail removal, and cryotherapy. We collaborate with local pathology providers, allied health professionals, and visiting specialists to ensure coordinated, team-based care across the Fraser Coast.
