Main Street Medical Centre in Pialba is pleased to host visiting specialist practitioners who consult from our purpose-built specialist suites at 71 Main Street, Pialba. Our visiting paediatrician provides care for children and families across Hervey Bay and the wider Fraser Coast region, reducing the need for families to travel to larger centres.

Our visiting specialists operate their own private practices and are not employees of Main Street Medical Centre. They consult from our rooms on a sessional basis, and each practice manages its own appointments, billing and waitlist independently.

GP Referral Required — A current GP referral is needed to book with our visiting specialist. If you do not have a regular GP, our experienced doctors at Main Street Medical Centre can assess your child's needs, provide a referral, and help coordinate ongoing care. Dr Clever Banda is an experienced Specialist Paediatrician providing comprehensive care for children across the Fraser Coast. He completed his medical degree in Zimbabwe and pursued advanced paediatric specialist training in Australia, bringing extensive international clinical experience to his practice in Hervey Bay.

Dr Banda also holds a position as a Staff Specialist Paediatrician at Hervey Bay Hospital, where he manages complex medical conditions and developmental concerns. His private practice, Fraser Coast Paeds, operates from the specialist suites at Main Street Medical Centre in Pialba, having relocated from Bayside Specialist Medical Centre in 2018.
