FRACGP GP opportunity in Hervey Bay — January 2027

Main Street Medical Centre is seeking a fellowed General Practitioner with FRACGP to join our established practice in Pialba, Hervey Bay, from January 2027. We would preferably welcome a GP seeking a full-time position.
A special interest in skin cancer medicine would be particularly welcome, as would a willingness to supervise and mentor GP registrars. Both are desirable rather than essential.

Our established skin cancer service offers an attractive setting for a GP who enjoys skin assessment, surveillance and surgical treatment, with:
- A dedicated skin surgery room for on-site procedures.
- Nursing support to support your clinical work.
- OptimaScan 3D total body photography, providing a photographic baseline for monitoring skin changes over time.
- Dermoscopy and DermEngine digital imaging for lesion assessment and monitoring.
- GP colleagues with existing interests in skin cancer medicine.
Alongside skin cancer care, our practice provides comprehensive family medicine, women’s and children’s health, chronic disease management, preventive care and minor procedures, with a visiting paediatric specialist.

Main Street Medical Centre has served the Fraser Coast community since 1983. We are AGPAL accredited and an accredited training practice with both RACGP and ACRRM.
For a GP who enjoys teaching, there is an opportunity to contribute to registrar supervision and help develop the next generation of general practitioners. We welcome interest from experienced supervisors and fellowed GPs interested in becoming involved in supervision.
