How Registration Works

When you book your first appointment, our system sends you a secure registration link by email and SMS. You complete your details on your phone, tablet, or computer, in your own time, before you arrive.

2. Receive your unique registration link by email and SMS.
3. Complete your details from any device, in your own time.
4. Arrive at your appointment — reception will check that your details are complete.

The details you enter at registration are collected by Main Street Medical Centre through our online booking provider so we can create and manage your medical record. See our Privacy Policy for how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal and health information.

What to Bring to Your First Appointment

• Your Medicare card, if you have one.
• Any concession or DVA card.
• Referrals or medical records from your previous doctor.
• A list of any current medications you take.

Interpreters and Access

If you would like an interpreter, tell reception when you book or let your doctor know. We use the free Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National). The clinic is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp at the entrance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to print anything before my appointment? No. Your registration is completed entirely online through the secure link we send you when you book. What if I do not have a Medicare card? You are still welcome at Main Street Medical Centre. A standard consultation without Medicare is $89. Please let reception know when you book. I would prefer help completing my registration. Can the practice assist? Yes. Call our reception team on (07) 4325 4000 and we will help you complete your registration over the phone or when you arrive.
