Dr. Priyani Perera is a second-year General Practice Registrar committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare. With a strong background in hospital medicine, she has gained valuable experience in women’s health, paediatrics, mental health, and chronic disease management.

Clinical Experience

Dr. Priyani has worked in hospital and community settings in both Sri Lanka and Australia, developing a well-rounded approach to patient care. Her experience includes:

  • General Medicine & Surgery – Managing acute and chronic conditions in hospital settings.
  • Paediatrics & Women’s Health – Gaining advanced experience in professorial units during her training.
  • Mental Health – Completing a rotation in Maryborough Hospital’s Mental Health Unit.
  • Emergency Medicine – Previously working as an Emergency RMO at the Royal Hobart Hospital.

She is currently a GP Registrar at Monsour Complex in Maryborough, providing holistic primary care to patients of all ages.
