With training in General Practice, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Dermatology, and Skin Cancer Medicine, Dr. Thu provides comprehensive care focused on the early detection, diagnosis, and surgical management of skin cancers for the Hervey Bay community.
Dr. Thu offers thorough full-body skin checks to detect skin cancers at the earliest stages and performs advanced procedures, including the excision of sebaceous cysts, lipomas, and skin lesions. He has completed certifications in Skin Cancer Medicine, Dermoscopy, and advanced skin cancer surgery and is pursuing further training to become a Skin Cancer College-recognised doctor.
Dr. Chandana Jayasinghe
Dr. Chandana Jayasinghe, MBBS, FRACGP, is a highly skilled General Practitioner at Main Street Medical Centre & Skin Clinic, proudly serving the Hervey Bay community since 2009. With expertise in ear micro suction, children’s health, travel medicine, chronic disease management, and minor surgical procedures, Dr. Jayasinghe is committed to delivering patient-centered care tailored to individual health needs. Drawing on over a decade of experience in General Practice and prior work in the Emergency Department at Hervey Bay Hospital, he combines clinical excellence with a compassionate approach. Outside the clinic, Dr. Jayasinghe enjoys family time with his wife, three children, and their beloved poodle, Annie.
Dr. Nadiesh Seneviratne
Dr. Nadiesh Seneviratne, MBBS, FRACGP, MSCCA, is an experienced General Practitioner and Skin Cancer Doctor at Main Street Medical Centre & Skin Clinic, dedicated to providing expert care in skin cancer detection, treatment, and dermatology. He is skilled in advanced skin cancer surgeries, including skin flaps and grafts, ensuring optimal cosmetic and functional outcomes. Dr. Yan Paing Oo

She has expertise in skin excisions, minor skin surgeries, and Implanon insertion and removal, offering long-term contraceptive solutions and holistic healthcare for patients of all ages.
Dr. Zin has gained valuable clinical experience working in Bundaberg and Ipswich, where she developed her skills and reputation for compassionate, evidence-based care. Dr. Padma Kaki
Dr. Padma Kaki, MBBS, FRACGP, DRANZCOG, is a highly experienced female General Practitioner with a special interest in women’s health and skin cancer medicine. Recently relocated from Alice Springs, Dr. Kaki brings extensive expertise in obstetrics and gynaecological services, offering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Dr. Kaki provides comprehensive women’s health services, including Mirena insertion and removal, and supports patients through all stages of life. While she has specialized training in women’s health, please note that Dr. Kaki is a General Practitioner, not a gynaecologist.

Dr. Priyani Perera
Dr. Priyani Perera, MBBS, is a second-year female General Practice Registrar at Main Street Medical Centre, dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. With a strong background in hospital medicine, Dr. Perera has gained valuable experience in women’s health, paediatrics, mental health, and chronic disease management.
Dr. Perera specializes in preventative and evidence-based medicine, offering services like contraception, cervical screening, skin biopsies, and minor procedures. Her training in both Sri Lanka and Australia, including rotations in mental health and emergency medicine, ensures a well-rounded approach to patient care.
Dr. Kyaw Phone Myint (Kelvin)
Dr. Kyaw Phone Myint (Kelvin), MBBS, is a first-year General Practice Registrar at Main Street Medical Centre & Skin Clinic, dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care to the Hervey Bay community. With a strong background in hospital medicine, clinical governance, and research, he is currently working towards his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
